      MissionReporting to the Regional Sales Director, the main objectives for the CIS Sales Manager are: consolidation and optimization of existing businesses as well as development of new business opportunities inside the CIS region.

Responsibilities:

- Manage Steelcase sales, dealers & partners’ relationships in Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia and Central Asian countries.
- Expand Steelcase’s activities in new territories by exploring new distribution channels and models
- Manage and coach the existing CIS sales team (5 direct reports)
- Manage efficiently the CIS financial performance including sales forecasts and improvement of margins).
- Lead prospecting, increase sales and develop strategic plans for key projects.
- Leverage the US and European products portfolio to support Global Accounts investing in this part of the world.
- Develop and structure our current business (sales organization, distribution models, strategic initiatives …)
      ProfileA university degree with 5+ years successful sales experience including managing a distribution network, preferably in a multinational organisation. The successful candidate has an understanding of the multi-process sales cycle and can sell at different levels of an organisation within very different cultures. Given the nature of this position, you are able to work both independently and as a team leader. You also possess analytical reasoning and financial skills. As a dynamic individual, you are self-motivated & willing to accept responsibility for results. In such an international role, you are ready to travel frequently: about 30 % of the time.
