Due to development activities in AMEE, Sanofi Pasteur has an interesting opportunity for a MEDICAL PROJECT MANAGER for 18 months in Vienna, Austria.

      MissionThe VIE will support the Medical Doctor in his medical activities for the Business Unit AMEE (Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe). The Medical Doctor for the Business Unit AMEE is based in Vienna in Austria and he coordinates all medical activities for the zone. The zone AMEE has become a proper Business Unit since 2008, thus increasing the responsibilities and activities for the Medical Doctor. Beforehand activities were handled by the International medical department, such as the medical action plan, the organisation of medical meetings, the interaction with the global support functions, etc….

He cooperates directly with the Sanofi Pasteur teams in each country, as well as with the headquarter team for the AMEE zone, and with diverse functional support teams (medico marketing, regulatory affairs, etc… all based in Lyon.

The VIE will be based in Vienna, Austria and he/she will be obliged to adhere to the hygiene, security and environment rules of the site.

Key Responsibilities :

-Medical Action Plan
Support the AMEE medical doctor in collecting information, elaborating and conducting the Medical Plan of Action for the AMEE Business Unit.
- Medical Information
Support the AMEE medical doctor in sending out regular summaries on medical related issues for the zone teams and respond to the medical questions for the countries in the region.
- Vaccine calendars and vaccination policies
Collect vaccine calendars and vaccination policies from the countries within the AMEE zone, summarize this information and keep it up-to-date.
-Medical Presentations
Support the AMEE medical doctor in preparing medical presentations. These presentations can be either targeted at Sanofi Pasteur staff for training purposes, at physicians, or any other key decision makers within the zone for symposiums organised by Sanofi Pasteur.
- Database of KOL for the zone
Establish and maintain a database of the Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) within the zone, in cooperation with the Sanofi Pasteur teams based in Lyon.
- Organisation of meetings
Support the organisation of internal meetings, for example 2 medical meetings per year for the zone AMEE, and external meetings with groups of experts, for example on topics such as Influenza, Rabies, etc…
      Profile- Degree in Pharmacy or Medicine
- Fluency in French and English is necessary
- German would be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with managers at different hierarchical levels.
- Rigorous, dynamic and a strong ability to move projects forward.
