Our key focus, for Irish companies is covered under the following five areas of activity: Achieving export sales, Investing in research and innovation, Competing through productivity, Starting up & scaling up, Driving regional enterprise. Within the context of new development initiatives within the Construction & Built Environment sectors, the Enterprise Ireland French operations has decided to create this new position : Market Advisor (M/F), based in Paris. France.

      MissionThe Market Advisor will focus initially on the Construction & Built Environment sectors and will manage a portfolio of industrial clients in France. His/her main objective will be to identify the clients with the greatest potential to generate significant export gains and to proactively support these companies in developing their sales activity in the French market. Reporting to the French Director, the Market Advisor will :

- To develop expertise in the Construction and Built Environment sectors of the market where Enterprise Ireland clients have substantial capability and proactively share this information with Key clients in each sector.
- Strive to deliver a quantified target of export gains for the assigned portfolio based on the targets set down for Northern Europe and specifically France.
- Build relationships with Key Enterprise Ireland clients who are seeking to develop sales in France and to agree key deliverables by Enterprise Ireland in accelerating their sales plans.
- To promote the French market to our clients and to ensure that our client base is educated about the ways and means of succeeding in France (channels to market, local partners, etc….)
- To establish an extensive network of contacts at senior level in French buying organizations and to pitch Enterprise Ireland and the various capabilities that can be sourced in Ireland.
- To proactively identify for each client, new sales opportunities in France, to advise clients on how they can best position themselves to win these contracts and to accompany key clients at every level of their sales process until they can credibly address sales opportunities independently of Enterprise Ireland with locally deployed sales resources.
      Profile- A degree in Business or a related discipline is a requirement
- At least 5 years sales experience in an industrial environment in France &/or in an Anglo-Saxon market
- Good understanding of the relevant sectors in the marketplace, and how to acquire this knowledge
- Proven ability in terms of project management
- Good track record of achieving results with clients
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Knowledge and understanding of the different cultures in the French market
- Fluency in French and English
- Entrepreneurial, self starter and ability to complete his/her missions.
- An excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, open-minded, diplomatic and a true team player.
