The EMEA Cranes division headquarters, based in Ecully in France has developed a new international design center and centre of excellence for Tower Cranes. This organization will enable talented engineers and specialists to work together on truly international projects with their homologues in China, in the US, and in Germany.
Due to an increase in new projects within this new organization, Manitowoc Cranes EMEA, Manitowoc Cranes EMEA seeks to recruit a CFAO Engineer for the Center of Excellence division for Tower Cranes, based in Ecully, (Rhone-Alpes region), France.

Mission
Reporting to the CAD Manager for Tower Cranes, the CFAO Engineer maintains and supports CAD Tools for all Tower Crane design departments (France, Portugal, Italia and China) and all departments using the Engineering documentation. As part of the global PLM (Product Life cycle Management) team, he/she will co-define the global processes and tools for Engineering.
Main responsibilities :
- Administrate, maintain and support the CAD tools (softwares and specific applications) related to CAD and PLM.
- Support the engineering users platform and all departments using the engineering documentation(Pro/Engineer and PDM tools)
- Administrate and maintain the visualization tools and other relative specifics
- Support and train users (ell departments) on visualization tools
- Research and suggest improvements for the tools relative to user needs
- Participate in the global team for PLM alignment to define global processes and tools for engineering.
- Collaborate and coach external suppliers concerning the processes and tools relative to engineering.
- Train and educate to ensure coherence and quality in PDM (product data management) and the visualization tools
Profile
- Excellent university degree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical, structural, civil, industrial), with a specialization in CAD
- 2-4 years experience in an industrial environment and a proven experience in CAD
- Proven experience working in a team & coordinating complex transversal projects
- Excellent linguistic ability in English and a minimum level of French is necessary.
- Open to mobility
