The EMEA Cranes division headquarters, based in Ecully in France has developed a new international design center and centre of excellence for Tower Cranes. This organization will enable talented engineers and specialists to work together on truly international projects with their homologues in China, in the US, and in Germany.

Due to an increase in new projects within this new organization, Manitowoc Cranes EMEA has opened up a new position for a Cabin Design Engineer (M/F), based in Ecully, France for the System Control and Electrical team with the Centre of Excellence.

      MissionReporting to the Manager for the Center of Excellence System Control & Electrical team, the « Cab Engineer » is responsible for the Cabin design and the accessories for Tower Cranes. He/she will also be the main technical project interface, between the project team and engineering.

Main responsibilities :
The Cabin Engineer is the principal interface for the Cabin projects, in regular contact with the project team and the task follow-up reports with Engineering. Some principal tasks are :
- Writing the technical specifications
- Writing the validation tests
- Drawing the plans with Pro-Engineer
- Participating in the choice of suppliers
- Follow quality and improvement actions, as well as cost reductions -.
      Profile- Excellent university degree in an Engineering discipline
- 2-4 years experience in an industrial environment
- Proven experience working in a team & on transversal projects
- Excellent linguistic ability in English and a minimum level of French is necessary.
- Open to mobility
